A Summer On The Move
September 9, 2026
By LESLIE AND ASSOCIATES
It’s been a busy summer at Leslie & Associates.
From bringing together end users, distributors, dealers and OEM partners for hands-on training, to taking Whelen 1 across Western Canada, connecting with customers at industry events and welcoming exciting news from our manufacturing partners, our team has been on the move.
As summer comes to a close, we wanted to share a few highlights from the past few months — and a look at where you can find us this fall.
Big News From Havis
Havis Acquires Pro-gard Products
This summer brought exciting news from two leaders in the public safety vehicle industry, with Havis announcing its acquisition of Pro-gard Products.
Bringing together Havis’ expertise in consoles, mounting systems, docking stations, power management and mobility solutions with Pro-gard’s extensive portfolio of partitions, prisoner transport systems, vehicle protection and storage solutions creates an even more complete approach to the public safety vehicle.
For Leslie & Associates and our customers across Canada, we’re excited about the opportunities this combination creates as Havis and Pro-gard continue to bring their products, experience and expertise together.
Training Across Canada
More Than 100 Attendees. Two Provinces. One Great Summer of Training.
Education and training continue to be an important part of how we support our customers and partners.
This summer, Leslie & Associates and Whelen hosted Command training programs in both Ontario and Alberta, bringing together end users, distributors, dealers, OEMs and technicians for hands-on training with Whelen’s vehicle control and programming systems.
Our Ontario training in Milton welcomed more than 70 attendees, followed by over 45 attendees in Edmonton, as we continued expanding access to Whelen technical training across Canada.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and to the Whelen team for continuing to support training across the country.
Whelen 1
One Truck. One Country. One Coast-to-Coast Journey.
If you’ve been following us this summer, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Whelen 1 somewhere along the way.
Our Whelen 1 F-250 demonstration vehicle has been travelling across Canada, giving fire departments, EMS agencies, fleets, dealers, distributors and vehicle builders the opportunity to experience some of Whelen’s newest products firsthand.
This summer, Whelen 1 travelled through British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, making stops at departments, industry events and customer locations throughout Western Canada.
Featuring the new Freedom V, CenCom Core, Field Series scene lighting and Whelen’s latest warning and scene light solutions, Whelen 1 allows our team to bring the demonstration directly to our customers.
The Journey Isn’t Over Yet.
Police Fleet Expo 2026
Record-Breaking Attendance in Orlando
The Leslie & Associates team was back at Police Fleet Expo this August in Orlando for another great week with the public safety fleet industry.
This year’s PFE welcomed record-breaking attendance, bringing together fleet professionals, vehicle manufacturers, upfitters and industry partners from across North America.
It was a great opportunity to connect with Canadian customers, industry partners and our manufacturers while seeing the latest from Whelen, Havis, Pro-gard, Panorama Antennas and All Fleet Solutions.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and spent time with our team throughout the show.
Summer’s End. Fall’s Just Getting Started.
